This is at the site of the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville. The big round ball is the Sunsphere. After the fair it became a restaurant; not sure if it still is. At the bottom, right-hand side of the Sunsphere you can just see the tip of two fire trucks suspending an American flag over a bridge.
